Scamp
In Loving Memory of
Scamp “Small One”
(01 December 2009) - (08 August 2010)
“No one loves you unconditionally as your beloved pet.”
If Tears Could Build a Stairway
If tears could build a stairway
And memories were a lane
We would walk right up to Heaven
And bring you back again.
No farewell words were spoken
No time to say goodbye
You were gone before we knew it
And only God knows why?
Our hearts still ache in sadness
And secret tears still flow
What it meant to lose you
No one will ever know.
But now we know you want us
To mourn for you no more
To remember all the happy times
Life still has much in store.
Since you’ll never be forgotten
We pledge to you today
A hallowed place within our hearts
Is where you’ll always stay.
We Miss you boy!

Lily & Mika
Little Lily (a ginger lady) and Mika were adopted shelter in February 2007. These loving little sisters were inseparable and loved curling up on our laps. Sadly, both passed away from FIP in June 2007. I still look at this photo and wish they were still with us.

Tigger
My Pretty One: Tigger
You loved to play in water. We loved to watch you. You were our
“Watch-Cat”, growling at all strangers (visiting cats). We loved to watch you. You filled our lives for such a short time. We love you Pretty One.

Micka
I hear his fimiliar Siamese voice in the house, I almost
see him.
I feel him lying on my chest just to realize he's not coming
back.
I don't have a nice verse that I can send you, it feels
as if nothing will do justice to my pain & the joy this
amazing kitty
has brought me.

Tigger
In Loving Memory of
Tigger “Momma’s Boy”
(01 December 2007) - (27 July 2009)
“No one loves you unconditionally as your beloved pet.”
Gone To Soon
We thought of you with love today, but that is nothing new.
We thought about you yesterday and days before that too.
We think of you in silence. We often speak your name.
Now all we have is memories, and your picture in a frame.
Your memory is our keepsake, with which we’ll never part.
God has you in his keeping.
We have you in our heart.
We Miss you boy!

Lilo
We adopted my boy Lilo from
Kitty Shelter. We fell in love with him instantly
and had to make him part of the family. He was with
us about 6 months and then he started to lose weight,
wouldn't eat and was very lethargic. We took him
to the vet and they wanted to keep him overnight.
We were sure we could bring him home but the next
day the vet phoned us with devastating news that
he had FIP and there was no cure or treatment. We
had no choice but to put him down as he was in pain
and was suffering. The loss of this special sole
has left a gaping hole in our hearts.
I miss
you my boy!

Ima
This month we had to say Goodbye
to our beloved Ima , who was a special mommy cat
rescued from the townships 9 years ago, she was
so sickly in the first year that we decided she
couldn’t be homed, so she lived out her very happy,
healthy life with Bella her daughter, at Merien’s
house. Earlier this month we found out she had colon
cancer and even though we tried to operate it was
too far gone. She will be missed by The Smidt family
and of course Bella. We love you always our darling
Ima.
